In artistic workshops at the University of Applied Sciences Trier, at art schools Metz, Epinal and Liège, and in the district Trier Nord created designs and works that deal with the historical military history of Trier and the greater region in the image of the bin, Defence and fortifications of the 20th . Century in terms of memory work deal. This project formed the basis for the book.
The project was part of "Luxembourg and Greater Region - European Capital of Culture 2007 ".
